Premium Agricultural Products
Avomeru
Inspired by farmers’ struggles with excess avocados, Jesse Oliange realized he could transform this waste into profitable oil. Partnering with Twende, he leveraged their workshops to develop his prototypes, secure grants, and refine his machine. Initially offering the machines to farmers, he adapted his approach by establishing cooperatives that use the machines and sell the oil, ensuring quality before marketing it to cosmetic companies. Today, Avomeru expands seed recovery for fertilizer and seedlings, fulfilling Jesse’s vision of a zero-waste model that empowers smallholder farmers and enhances community livelihoods.
